Maharashtra Class 11 Admission 2025: CAP round 1 seat allotment will be announced on mahafyjcadmissions.in.
The school education department, Maharashtra has revised the schedule for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admission 2025. Accordingly, the first allotment list for Maharashtra Class 11 admissions 2025 will be published on June 30 at mahafyjcadmissions.in. The revision comes in the backdrop of a court case and technical issues.
“The state government has approved the online admission process for Class 11 in the academic session 2025-26. This year, Class 11 online admission is being done for the first time in the entire state. As per the schedule, it was decided to announce the first round of admission lists to students and schools and colleges on June 26, 2025. However, as per the government corrigendum, as per the court decision, it is expected to make changes in the total admission capacity of minority community schools and colleges in the Class 11 online admission process,” the department said.
Due to the ongoing court cases, the student admission lists will not be announced on June 26, 2025 as per the merit of the schools, junior colleges and senior colleges affiliated to higher secondary schools in the admission process, it added.
Over 12.7 lakh students applied for Class 11 admissions as per the Maharashtra FYJC general merit list . Recently, the government changed the rules for 50% minority seats , allowing the minority institutes to voluntarily surrender the vacant reserved seats after the first round of admissions and permitting the junior colleges to fill these seats under the in-house quota. Earlier, the minority colleges could not surrender the left-over seats until the completion of the three regular rounds of admissions.
Prior to this, the school education department also extended the 10% in-house quota by including schools run by the same educational institutions in a particular district.
