‘We’ll be back soon’: Maharashtra FYJC admission portal closes temporarily, next update at 5 pm

mahafyjcadmissions.in: The admission web portal has been closed for some time to make it easier to handle through mobile, the officials said. The last date to apply for round 1 Maharashtra FJYC is May 28.
Just hours after the admission portal for the Maharashtra First Year Junior College (FYJC) was open, the state school education and sports department closed the official website, mahafyjcadmissions.in, for some time. The Maharashtra FYJC admission portal has been closed to make it easier to handle through mobile, the official statement read.
The Maharashtra government started the registration process for Class 11 admission 2025 today to fill around 20 lakh seats. Of the total approved intake, 8,52,206 (8.52 lakh) seats will be filled in science, 5,40,312 in commerce, and 6,50,682 in art stream. The Maharashtra FYJC registration link 2025 has been hosted on the official website, mahafyjcadmissions.in.
“The admission web portal has been closed for some time to make it easier to handle through mobile. Students and parents should not be confused. After the site is launched, you will be informed immediately on the WhatsApp channel to provide updates on the admission process,” the officials said.
“Official WhatsApp channel started by the Directorate of Education (Secondary and Higher Secondary), Pune for the admission process of class 11th https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbB2T6DBA1etTOdyi10C,” it said.
As per the schedule, the facility to submit applications and fill choices and stream for the first round of admission process will be available till May 28. “We are committed to giving the required time to every student,” it added.
The Maharashtra FYJC round 1 provisional allotment will be declared at 11 am on May 30.
Maharashtra FYJC: Next update on website at 5 pm
Currently, the Maharashtra Class 11 FYJC official website reads: “Sorry for the inconvenience but we’re performing some maintenance at the moment. If you need to you can always Contact Us, We’ll be back online shortly!”
The FYJC admissions team has also informed the parents and students that the next update will be announced at 5 pm today. Meanwhile, parents and students will be able to contact the officials through helpline number – 8530955564 – from 9 am to 7 pm, or mail to support@mahafyjcadmissions.in.
