The School Education and Sports Department, Maharashtra has issued the Maharashtra FYJC centralised admission process (CAP) 2026-27 round 1 allotment list today, May 29, 2026. Thi year, a total 1,33,323 students allotted seats in Maha FYJC round 1 seat allotment. Candidates can check the Maha FYJC allotment result by logging in to the official portal using their application number and password.

The admission confirmation process for FYJC 2026 Round 1 will be conducted from today, 12 pm to June 3, 2026 (6 pm). The schedule for the second admission round will be announced on June 5, 2026, at 6 pm, while the list of vacant seats will be displayed on June 6, 2026.

For the FYJC admission confirmation process, students had to keep all necessary documents prepared in advance. These included the SSC/Class 10 marksheet, school leaving certificate, recent passport-size photographs, Aadhaar card or another valid photo identity proof, caste certificate and non-creamy layer certificate for reserved category candidates, domicile certificate, and the allotment letter obtained from the official admission website.

To download the Maharashtra FYJC round 1 seat allotment List 2026, candidates can follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official FYJC admission portal at mahafyjcadmissions.in
• Click on the “FYJC 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment” link available on the homepage
• Enter your login credentials such as application number and password
• Submit the details to access the seat allotment result
• The allotted junior college name and admission details will appear on the screen
• Download the allotment letter and take a printout for future admission formalities

Maharashtra FYJC Round 1 2026: What’s next?

The next stage of the FYJC admission process will depend on the preference allotted to students. Candidates who receive their first-choice college must confirm their admission by selecting the “proceed for admission” option, downloading the allotment letter, visiting the allotted college with original documents and completing the fee payment and verification process before June 3. Authorities have also stated that students allotted their first preference who fail to confirm admission may lose the chance to participate in the upcoming regular CAP rounds.

For students allotted colleges between their second and tenth preferences, the decision will depend on whether they are satisfied with the seat offered. Those happy with the allotment can complete the admission process immediately. However, students hoping for a better option in the second round should avoid confirming admission or paying the fees. Such candidates will automatically remain eligible for the next allotment round.
