Download NowNEW DELHI: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) chairman Sharad Gosavi while announcing the Maharashtra HSC results 2025 said that a total of 11 FIRs have been registered in connection with the cheating cases in the board exams. Additionally, the approval of 124 exam centres, where malpractices were reported, will be cancelled depending on whether the cheating was caught by the exam centre or the flying squad, the Board chairman said.
Of the 11 FIRs lodged, majority of seven cases were recorded from Ch Sambhaji Nagar, and two each from Pune and Mumbai.
During the press conference, the chairman stated that not a single college recorded a 100% pass rate this year. Moreover, not a single student was declared pass in 38 colleges. “The pass rate keeps fluctuating. As per usual results. We need to analyse results. Need to check why the drop in results,” he said.
He also announced that the state board has increased honorarium of paper checkers by 10% each year for the past 3 years.

The Number of cases recorded in the nine divisional boards - Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan - is given below.

This year, Maharashtra HSC science students performed well compared to commerce and arts, however, the overall performance dropped by 3.21 points. The Maharashtra 12th result link 2025 is not available on the official website, hscresult.mahahsscboard.in.
