PwD, NRI eligibility criteria

As per the revised eligibility criteria, non-resident Indians and wards of NRI will be given top priority while allotting seats. Candidates seeking admission under the NRI quota are required to register on Foreign Candidate Registration Portal before November 6. Such applicants are eligible only for 15% institute quota as per merit.

Students who have completed an MBBS degree from a foreign university are not eligible for admission in Maharashtra medical colleges.

Those eligible for PwD reservation should claim the quota at the time of registration. They will have to submit an online PwD certificate issued by any one of the 16 designated disability boards set by the state to be eligible for admission. Only applicants who received the PwD certificates from these designated disability centres will be able to view the choices for the quota.
