Maharashtra NEET UG round 2 revised schedule out for MBBS, BDS admission; choice filling from September 20

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has announced the revised schedule for the Maharashtra National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) counselling 2025 round 2. As per the schedule, the Maharashtra NEET UG round 2 seat matrix will be published on September 19.

Candidates will be able to fill out their preference forms online from September 20 to September 22. The revised Maharashtra NEET UG round 2 schedule has been issued in line with the updated counselling calendar of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota and state quota admissions.

The CET cell will issue the Maharashtra NEET UG round 2 selection list on September 24. Selected candidates will have to complete physical reporting with all original documents and requisite fees in the form of a demand draft or cheque between September 25 and September 29, till 5:30 pm.

The CET Cell further informed that the schedule for subsequent CAP rounds, if required, will be declared later. It also clarified that the current schedule is subject to change depending on directions from MCC, AACCC, central and state governments, or court orders.

The Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 round 1 seat allotment result was announced on August 13. A total of 38,372 candidates were provisionally selected for MBBS and BDS admissions. According to the National Medical Commission (NMC), Maharashtra offers 10,845 MBBS seats, with 5,125 in government colleges and 5,720 in private colleges.
