NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the choice filling facility for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) counselling today. Candidates who have a valid NEET UG score and fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission in 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats will have to submit their choices of institutions or medical colleges and courses in the order of preference. The MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 correction window will be hosted on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

The MCC has advised candidates opting to apply especially for deemed universities to confirm the fee structure and other additional fees from the respective medical colleges’ official portal before filling the choices. Some All-India Quota colleges might have a high fee structure, it said.
The MCC will be preparing the NEET UG seat allotment to the participating candidates based on their merit and choices filled.
Candidates will be allowed to submit as many choices as they wish, however, the choices will have to be submitted in the order of preference. “There will be common software for AIQ, deemed, central universities, BSc Nursing, AIIMS, JIPMER, AMU, BHU for filling up choices,” it said.
The MCC NEET UG counselling registration 2024 will be closed on August 20. Candidates registering for the counselling process for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing seats will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 5,000 and a non-refundable security deposit of Rs 2 lakh.
For 15% AIQ, central universities such as Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), and others, the NEET UG registration fee is Rs 1,000 for general category candidates and Rs 500 for reserved categories. A refundable security deposit of Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 will have to be paid by the general and reserved category candidates, respectively.
