MDI Murshidabad Placements 2024: PGDM batch bags highest offer of Rs 40 lakh

MDIM final and summer placement report for PGDM batch 2022-24 and 2023-25 witnessed a diversity of recruiters across BFSI, IT, marketing, HR services, manufacturing, consulting among others.
NEW DELHI: The Management Development Institute Murshidabad (MDI Murshidabad) concluded its final campus placement for PDGM batch 2022-24, with the highest package of Rs 40 lakh per annum, as per the 2025 admission brochure.
The institute has notified the summer placement report of PGDM batch 2023-25 and final placement details of batch 2022-24 in the information brochure for the upcoming admission cycle 2025.
A batch of 188 students participated in the MDI PGDM final placement drive 2022-24, of which 77% were male and 23% were female. The overall number of recruiters for the event were approximately 100 and an average package was at Rs 11.76 lakh per annum.
According to the MDIM PGDM batch 2023-25 summer placements data, a total of 182 students comprising 80% male and 20% female students took part in the placement drive.
MDIM Placements: Students’ profile
During the summer placements, 30.6% BCom, 19.7% BBA, 8.7% BTech, 16.9% BSc, and 24% students from various other academic backgrounds participated. Whereas in the MDIM final placements 2022-24, a majority of 29.6% students with BBA background took part.
Among the students, 77% were freshers and 9% had work experience of less than a year. Seven percent had 2 years of work experience and another 7% had over 2 years of job experience.

MDIM Placements: Top recruiters
The summer placements saw participation from a total of 48 recruiters in various domains such as strategy, finance, marketing, human resources, and supply chain and operations
Whereas the final PDGM placement drive witnessed a diversity of recruiters across BFSI, IT, marketing, HR services, manufacturing, consulting and others.
BFSI emerged as the most sought-after domain accounting for 27.1% of the total offers received. The other sectors were automobile, energy, telecommunication, manufacturing, and supply chain. The continuous faith of the recruiters have helped this Institute achieve greater milestones, the institute said.
Whereas, prominent companies that were part of the placement drive included Airtel, Axis Bank, Dabur, Colgate, Cognizant and many more.
In a significant achievement, the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) recently approved the PGDM programme by MDIM for the academic years 2024-25 to 2026-27 and deemed it equivalent to MBA by AIU for a period of three years.
