MH CET 2026 registration begins for BSc nursing, GNM, DPN, PHN; apply by February 24

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Mumbai, has started the registration for MH CET 2026 for BSc nursing, general nursing and midwifery (GNM), diploma in psychiatric nursing (DPN), and public health nursing (PHN) entrance tests. The MH DPN, PHN CET 2026 exam will be held on May 5, while the Nursing and GNM exams are scheduled for May 6 and 7.

Eligible candidates can apply through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org. The last date to register for the MH CET 2026 exam is February 24. The payment window will also close on the same day.

The exam will be conducted at centres across four major districts in Maharashtra — Mumbai, Pune, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), and Nagpur.

In order to apply, candidates belonging to the General and EWS categories from Maharashtra and outside the state will have to pay Rs 1,000 as the MH CET 2026 application fee. Backward class, orphan, and other gender candidates will have to pay Rs 800.

MH Nursing CET 2026: Exam pattern

As per the MH CET 2026 exam pattern, the question paper includes five sections: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Nursing Aptitude.

The MH DPN, PHN CET 2026 exam will have 100 multiple-choice questions. The exam duration will be 90 minutes. Each question will carry one mark, and there will be no negative marking.

“Candidates who do not have an APAAR ID must generate it using DigiLocker. APAAR ID is required to complete the MH CET registration,” the official notice said.

“Candidates must also update their Aadhaar details, name, date of birth as per the Class 10 certificate, recent photograph, father’s name, address, and mobile number before registering for the entrance exam,” the notice added.
