MICA, Digii to launch project ‘SATHI’ to document digital transformation of educational institutions

MICA has entered into a partnership with Digii to initiate project ‘SATHI’ (Stories Advancing Technology and Higher-ed Institutions) to identify, research, and document impactful digital transformation stories from across colleges. The collaboration will adapt story telling techniques to streamline operations and enhance learning experiences of educational institutions.
An agreement was signed at the MICA campus between Jaya Deshmukh, director and CEO, MICA and Hemant Sahal, founder and CEO of Digii, a platform that helps colleges to stream line operations and boost learning experiences.
Ruchi Tewari, associate dean, marketing, communication and public affairs at MICA, along with her team will head the storytelling strategy and creative development.

Boost voices of transformation in education, technology
Explaining the importance of the collaboration, Jaya Deshmush, director and CEO, MICA, said: “This partnership with Digii underlines our commitment to amplify voices of transformation in education and technology, its role in shaping the future of learning, and to bears testimony to MICAs repute as a chosen institution for communications and the art of storytelling.”
Further, the collaboration is aimed at setting a benchmark for how storytelling can be used as a powerful medium to showcase innovation, foster partnership, and motivate wider adaptation of technology in education.
Through the partnership, MICA and Digii aimed to celebrate stories of change that encourage institutions to embrace technology as an enabler rather than just a tool, the official document reads.
Hemant Sahal, founder and CEO, Digii, said: “SATHI is about the faith in the power of stories to build a community that holds trust between technology and higher-ed institutions.
