Download EBookNEW DELHI: Vice-chancellor of Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Dilip Uikey has been elected as convenor of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2025). The decision was taken by the governing body of the Consortium of NLUs. CLAT is held for admission into 24 National Law Universities and other participating colleges.

The convenor is elected each year by the CLAT governing body by a secret ballot for assisting the Consortium of NLUs executive committee in the smooth conduct of the exam. CLAT convenor is an ex-officio member of the executive committee, which can delegate him any power for the smooth conduct of CLAT and maintaining confidentiality of matters concerned therewith.
The consortium also elected VC Vivekanandan, vice-chancellor of HNLU as the president of the CLAT 2025, and S Shantha Kumar, director of GNLU as the vice-president.
As per previous years’ trends, The registration for CLAT 2025 will open in the first week of July on the official website of consortium, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The CLAT registration fee is Rs 3,500 for general candidates and Rs. 3,000 for SC and ST candidates. Candidates will have to pay Rs. 500 as additional fee for CLAT previous year papers.
