The board has announced that, from the 2024-25 academic year, the supplementary exam will be replaced with a second exam for students who fail or are absent in any subject of the MP Board main exam 2025.

Students who want to appear in the MP Board second exam 2025 can complete the registration process through the official website at mponline.gov.in. The last date to fill out the MP Board Class 10, 12 second exam 2025 application form is May 21.
Students who registered for the MP Board first exam will be eligible to appear for the second exam if they do not pass or are absent in one or more subjects. The Board has clarified that students who pass the main exam can also appear for the second exam to improve their marks in one or more subjects.
However, students cannot change their subjects for the second exam. The marks obtained in practical or internal exams from the first exam will carry over to the second exam. Students who are not satisfied with their results in the second exam can apply for revaluation and obtain a photocopy of their answer sheet.
MP Board Second Exam 2025: Application fee
The students who want to appear for the MP Board Class 10, 12 second exam 2025 will have to submit an online application with the prescribed fee. Students who want to appear for only one subject in the second exam will be required to pay a fee of Rs 500.
For students who want to appear in two subjects, the fee will be Rs 1,000. If students wish to appear for three or four subjects, the fee will be Rs 1,500. Students who choose to appear for more than four subjects will have to pay a fee of Rs 2,000.

The MP Board 10th and 12th second exams 2025 will begin on June 17. The Class 10 second exam will start with Hindi on June 17, followed by Urdu on June 18. The last exam for the Class 10 second exam 2025, which will be Social Science, is scheduled for June 26.
The final MP Board Class 12 second exam 2025 will be held on July 5, 2025, for Sanskrit. The detailed MP Board second exam timetable 2025 is available on the official website at mpbse.nic.in.
“Students who will be appearing for the second exam may be granted provisional permission for admission to the next higher class by the principal of their respective institution, at their own risk, until the second exam results are announced. If they pass the second exam, their attendance will be counted for that class,” the English translation of the official notice said.
