Maharashtra State Council of Examination has announced provisional scholarship exam results for Classes 5 and 8 along with re-evaluation details
The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has announced the Interim results for the pre-upper primary scholarship examination (Class 5) and pre-secondary scholarship examination (Class 8) on the council’s official websites at mscepune.in and puppssmsce.in. This scholarship examination was conducted on February 22, 2026.
In addition to the scholarship examinations, the council has announced the interim results for the Government Vidyaniketan Entrance Test, Tribal Vidyaniketan Entrance Test, and the Vidyaniketan Entrance Examination for Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes students.
The notice reads, “If schools wish to make corrections related to school area classification (urban/rural) or curriculum details in the school information form, the headmaster must send a signed request letter with complete details to puppsshelpdesk@gmail.com by May 27, 2026.”

MSCE Class 5 and 8 scholarship result 2026: How to check
To download the MSCE Class 5 and 8 scholarship result 2026 students need to follow the steps given below:
- Visit the council’s official websites at mscepune.in and puppssmsce.in
- On the homepage, click on “school login” or “login for institutions”
- Enter the details, including user ID and password and then submit
- Select “examination results” or “student performance" and then choose the relevant examination: Class 5 or Class 8 scholarship exam
- The provisional marks and student list will be displayed on the screen
- Download the result and take a printout for future reference
MSCE Class 5 and 8 scholarship result 2026: Re-evaluation and correction window
Candidates seeking re-evaluation of their marks can apply online through their school login portals between May 18 and May 27, 2026. Applicants will be required to pay an online fee of Rs 50 for each subject paper submitted for verification.
“The decision regarding marks verification applications submitted online along with the required fee will be communicated through the respective school login within 30 days of receiving the application. The final result and merit list will be published after all online verification applications received within the prescribed period are resolved,” the notice reads.
Schools have also been given the option to request corrections in students’ personal information, including their name, surname, father’s name and mother’s name. The online correction window will remain open until May 27, 2026.
