The National Teachers’ Awards 2025 will be conferred by President Droupadi Murmu. Awardees include teachers from Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, Atomic Energy Education Society, and CISCE schools.

The union education ministry has released the list of 45 teachers selected from across India for the National Teachers’ Award 2025. The awards will be conferred by the President Droupadi Murmu, on September 5, 2025, which is celebrated as Teachers’ Day, during a national-level ceremony.
The 45 awardees were selected through a three-stage online process at the district, state, and national levels. The group includes 24 men and 21 women, with two teachers each from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat.
The National Teachers’ Award recognises teachers who have made significant contributions to school education, improved learning outcomes, and enriched the lives of their students. Eligible teachers submitted online nominations for the 2025 awards from June 23 to July 20.
The selected teachers include representatives from central boards, state schools, and specialised institutions such as the Atomic Energy Education Society, Sainik Schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, and Navodaya Vidyalayas.
The list of awardees includes Pragya Singh from Chhattisgarh, Sonia Vikas Kapoor from the Atomic Energy Education Society, and Madhurima Acharya from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
