NBEMS to start NEET SS 2025 registration today after delay and date changes

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will commence the registration for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Superspecialty (NEET SS) 2025 from 3 pm today, November 5. Candidates will be able to fill the NEET SS application form 2025 on the official website, natboard.edu.in.

NBEMS informed that the last date for NEET SS registration 2025 is November 25, till 11:55 pm. The computer-based test will be held on December 26 and 27, in two shifts, for admissions to Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirugiae (MCh), other super specialty courses in medical colleges across the country. Notably, the exam was not held last year.

NEET SS 2025 information bulletin will also be uploaded today, providing information on eligibility criteria, important dates, exam pattern, marking scheme, syllabus, application fee, and more.

The medical board revised the NEET SS exam date, for the second time. Initially, the entrance exam was scheduled for November 6, 7 and was later postponed to December 27, 28. Aspirants have been demanding registrations, information bulletin as they were left worried over delay despite approaching exam date.

Recently, the National Medical Commission (NMC) noted that the medical colleges have reported only 3,547 NEET SS admissions in the last session.

Last year, NBEMS revised the NEET SS exam pattern and announced that there will be separate question paper groups for medical oncology and critical care medicine groups. Moreover, the NEET SS question paper will be divided into three time-bound sections – section A, section B, and section C. Each section will contain 50 questions and will be allotted 50 minutes. It has also been decided to allow PG holders in traumatology and surgery to take the exam.
