MBBS Admission 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the NEET UG counselling 2025 round 1 college reporting on August 22. Candidates who have been allotted seats will be able to check the All India Quota (AIQ) allotment on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
The Director General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) has declared the UP NEET UG 2025 round 1 seat allotment results. Candidates seeking MBBS and BDS seats in UP medical and dental colleges are required to download the allotment letter from the official website, upneet.gov.in. College reporting will begin from August 18.
The counselling committee had informed that one seat has been withdrawn from the MCC seat matrix in compliance with a Supreme Court order. A total of the top 48 rank holders secured seats in AIIMS New Delhi. Notably, 131 out of 132 AIIMS Delhi MBBS seats have been filled in the MCC NEET UG round 1 seat allotment 2025.
The Directorate of Medical Education, Kolkata, will announce the merit list of provisionally selected candidates and seat matrix for West Bengal NEET UG counselling 2025. The seat allotment results will be declared on August 20.
For admission to MBBS and BDS programmes, NEET UG counselling 2025 will be conducted in a total of three rounds, followed by a stray vacancy round.
Through the Delhi NEET counselling 2025 process, the committee will fill a total of 600 MBBS and 40 BDS seats. The selection process is conducted for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% state quota seats in three medical and one dental college.
The merit list for Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 counselling was published on August 7, wherein a total of 60,021 candidates were included to participate in the admission process.
The authorities also published the Karnataka NEET UG 2025 counselling round 1 seat allotment result on August 2. Candidates who have been allotted seats must report to the allotted institutes before August 16.
Furthermore, the Director General Medical Education (DGME) announced the UP NEET UG counselling 2025 merit list on August 11. A total of 32,230 candidates were included in the list for admission to MBBS, BDS in dental and medical colleges.

NEET UG Counselling 2025: Careers360 flagged 17 NEET UG candidates from last year who figured in the list of students admitted to MBBS despite scoring less than the qualifying marks. Sixteen of these appearances were up to a 'few wrong entries' by medical colleges, said the National Medical Commission (NMC). The commission has requested colleges to re-check the details of admitted students and report discrepancies within a week.

MCC has announced the NEET UG counselling round 1 allotment results 2025. The exit with forfeiture option is explained below.
If a candidate is offered a seat in round 2 or another round, but does not intend to take the seat, they can exit with forfeiture (losing the security amount deposited) within the given duration. Candidates who will join the allotted seats in the third round will not be able to resign, surrender, or participate in further rounds of counselling. Also, candidates who do not report for an allotted seat lose claim to the seat with forfeiture of fees, and will not be allowed to participate in further rounds of counselling.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has finalised the NEET UG allotment result 2025. AIIMS Delhi has removed one seat for Scheduled Caste (SC) - Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category. The counselling committee had informed that the seat has been withdrawn from MCC seat matrix for round 1 with a Supreme Court order.
