For AP NEET PG counselling 2025, a total of 191 candidates have been barred from participating in this year’s MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses admission process.

The start of NEET PG 2025 counselling remains dependent on the Supreme Court’s decision in the transparency case. However, according to the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA), the counselling process is likely to begin by mid-October. Legal experts have stated that the timely adjudication of the NEET PG transparency plea is crucial to preserving the credibility of the examination process. They noted that further delay in the Supreme Court’s decision could disrupt the postgraduate medical counselling schedule, affecting thousands of candidates across India.

The petitioners clarified that they are not seeking re-evaluation of NEET PG 2025 papers. Instead, they are demanding the release of all exam components — including the full question set, candidates’ responses, correct answers, and awarded marks — similar to the process followed in JEE, CLAT, and AIIMS INI-CET exams.

Petitioners have challenged NBEMS’s corrective notice issued on August 21, which introduced a new format of answer key disclosure using only Question ID Numbers from a master set. They argue that this system lacks transparency, as each candidate received a shuffled version of the paper, making it impossible to verify their results accurately.

As per the Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2025 guidelines, candidates from the general category are required to pay Rs 1,500. Candidates can apply for the state quota seats on the official website, bfuhs.ac.in. The application fee for the round 1 counselling session is Rs 5,900, whereas SC candidates have to pay Rs 2,950, including GST charges. 

NMC has recently clarified that the medical colleges are not required to seek fresh recognition of seats to furnish the annual disclosure report, as well as the course-wise fee. The clarification comes after requests filed by medical colleges for recognition of MD and MS courses.
