NEET PG counselling delay, SC hearing

After prolonged delay, the MCC announced the NRI quota document submission deadline and NEET PG reset registration last date. The complete schedule for all four rounds of MCC NEET PG counselling 2025 is yet to be announced. This delay has caused aspirants and doctors to collectively raise concerns regarding the functioning of the National Medical Commission.

They accused the commission of delaying the seat approval for NEET PG, which is a key process before starting the counselling, as choice filling will be based on the final seat matrix. The Supreme Court, which gave two weeks’ time for the National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) to respond, will take up the NEET PG transparency matter today.

NEET PG aspirants had approached the top court demanding transparency in the NEET PG exam and seeking access to full questions along with the official answer key.
