NEET PG Counselling 2025 LIVE: MCC AIQ admission schedule soon; Kerala registration closes on September 22

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has commenced the registration process for Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counselling 2025 based on the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET PG). Candidates can apply for AP NEET PG 2025 counselling on the official website by September 25.

SC will hear the plea on reservations for transgender candidates in NEET PG 2025 next week. The bench comprising Chief Justice BR Gavai and Justice K Vinodchandran heard the plea, challenging the NEET-PG notification for not providing counselling and seat allocation for transperson aspirants.

A NEET PG 2025 aspirant posted on X and said: "Please help us neet pg 2025 students get justice nearly 200 marks desperancy has happened." The Supreme Court will likely hear the transparency plea today. 

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon announce dates for the NEET PG 2025 counselling for admission to MD, BDS, and other post-diploma courses for the academic year 2025-26.

SC is expected to hear all petitions seeking transparency in NEET PG 2025 on September 19, as per the tentative listing on its official website. Earlier, the hearing was postponed by the top court for two weeks. 

Transgender candidates have challenged the NEET-PG 2025 notification for not providing counselling or seat allocation. Senior advocate Indira Jaising cited the NALSA v. Union of India ruling, highlighting that specific reservations for transpersons are still not implemented. The Court will continue hearing petitions next week.

The Supreme Court will next week hear petitions seeking 1 per cent horizontal reservation for transgender candidates in NEET PG 2025. The plea requests two seats in the All India Quota and one seat each in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Chief Justice BR Gavai noted that setting aside seats now may create uncertainty in admissions. Postgraduate counselling is yet to begin, while undergraduate counselling is ongoing.

According to the Kerala NEET PG 2025 counselling guidelines, candidates admitted under the general category must complete one year of service in designated hospitals. Service quota candidates are required to serve for 10 years, including two years in remote or difficult areas. Those who discontinue the course must repay government expenses and a penalty of Rs 50 lakh.

NEET PG SC Hearing 2025 updates | A bench of Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice KV Viswanathan will hear the petition filed by NEET PG aspirants and United Doctors Front (UDF) against the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

Candidates can apply for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2025 counselling registration on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net. The registration link will now be active till September 18, up to 5 pm.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has clarified that the medical colleges offering PG courses are not required to seek fresh recognition of seats but need to furnish the annual disclosure report as ell as course-wise fee.

For NEET PG 2025, more than 2.42 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. NBEMS deployed more than 200 office personnel to view the live CCTV feed received from various test centres across the country. NEET PG 2025 was conducted in CBT mode across 301 cities and 1,052 test centres. 

According to students' reactions, the NEET PG 2025 paper was moderate in difficulty level. Several aspirants also said the paper had several previous year questions, and it felt like the easiest exam in years. 

A student wrote on X: “The paper was easy to moderate. A high number of PYQs (modified PYQs) were asked. In some questions, options were confusing. NEET PG cut-off is likely to go high. In such papers, clustering becomes an issue as everyone would have answered the straightforward questions correctly.”

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research selection committee has extended the TN NEET PG counselling 2025 deadline till September 18. After receiving several requests from candidates to push the registration deadline, the committee extended the deadline by 2 days.

The NEET PG seniority list of candidates will be prepared by the controlling officer or head of department. According to the rules, the service weightage will be added up from all areas of services and will be capped at 30% of the marks obtained in the qualifying exam. Furthermore, service weightage in the marks will be given at the rate of 1% for each year.

The Kerala NEET PG 2025 Counselling registration link will be closed on September 22. Candidates seeking admission to MD, MS and post graduate degree programmes at government, government-aided and private colleges in the state can register for the Kerala NEET PG 2025 counselling registration at cee.kerala.gov.in.

Directorate of Medical Education and Research has extended the last date to apply for Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling 2025 till 5 pm on September 18. "Hence, the period for online submission of applications is extended up to 18.09.2025 at 05.00 pm, after considering the requests from candidates," the directorate said in the latest notice.

NEET PG 2025 aspirants have intensified the demands for question-wise answer keys. A medico said in a post, "PILs have hit the Supreme Court. If JEE & NEET UG can give question-wise answer keys, why not NEET PG? We demand the same standards!" Another candidate wrote, "Thousands of NEET PG aspirants lost 70–150 marks overnight. NBEMS calls it a 'technical glitch'—we call it our stolen future. We demand justice, not excuses."

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will announce the schedule for the Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2025 soon on the official website, kea.kar.nic.in.

As per the TN NEET PG counselling 2025 bond policy, candidates have to submit a penalty of Rs 15 lakh if they wish to discontinue the course after the resignation period. The total charges should be paid by means of a demand draft to the Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai– 10. Additionally, the discontinuation fee for PG diploma courses is Rs 10 lakh, and for other PG degree courses is Rs 15 lakh.

Eligible candidates will have to first create the PIN as the first step to register for Gujarat NEET PG Counselling 2025. The last date to register for the counselling process is September 16 by 5 pm.
