NEET PG 2025 LIVE Updates: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has concluded the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Post Graduate (NEET PG 2025) exam. The NEET PG 2025 answer key will now be released soon on the official website at natboard.edu.in.
Candidates will be allowed to submit objections against the provisional NEET PG 2025 answer key. The challenges will be reviewed by subject experts before the final answer key is released.
The NEET PG 2025 exam, conducted on August 3 in a single shift, was rated as easy to moderate in difficulty by candidates and medical professionals. Several test-takers reported a high number of repeated & modified previous year questions, with some calling it one of the easiest papers in recent years.
Candidates seeking admission to MD, MS and other postgraduate medical courses are required to qualify and get a rank in the NEET PG 2025 exam.
Those with a valid NEET PG 2025 admit card, downloaded from the official website, natboard.edu.in, along with a government ID proof were allowed to sit for the exam. The NEET PG question paper 2025 comprised 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Based on the final answer key, NEET PG result 2025 will be declared on September 3. There will not be any normalisation of NEET PG scores as the exam was held in a single shift. As per the NEET PG qualifying criteria 2025, candidates belonging to the general, EWS category have to score 50th percentile while SC, ST, OBC need to obtain 45th percentile. The NEET PG 2025 qualifying marks for PwD are 45th percentile.

The NBEMS has informed that 16 centers have been set up for issuing PwD certificate. Candidates who obtain the qualifying marks in the NEET PG exam will have to submit the required documents such as UDID card to get the PwD certificate from the designated centres.
Only those candidates who get the certificate from these centres will be eligible to claim 5% PwD reservation in the medical courses under 50% AIQ, central university seats.

The NBEMS has explained in detail the scenarios and actions to be taken in case of technical disruptions.
Power failure - No action necessary. The timer will stop when the failure occurs and will resume when the failure is rectified.
Loss of connectivity - IT Manager in each exam room verifies and unlocks the candidates account and the timer starts from the same point where the candidate had left.
Other technical glitches - On reporting the issue, the IT manager will resolve the issue. Candidate may be shifted from their allotted seat to buffer seat in same or other lab during the examination, if required.

Frisking at the NEET PG exam centre will be done using hand held metal detector and body pat. Finger biometrics of candidates will be captured at the time of registration for the test at the reporting counter. Additionally, photograph of the candidates will be captured at the entry point and at each bio-break, and during the exam.
