The Resident Doctors’ Association of King George’s Medical University has raised concerns over the exclusion of senior residency seats from the UP NEET PG 2025 seat matrix. The RDA claims several seats at top institutions have been left out without explanation.

While the Supreme Court has asked NBEMS to release the NEET PG 2025 answer key and raw marks, the board has not yet issued any notification regarding the answer key challenge fee or process. The NEET PG 2025 answer key download link will be available on the official website at natboard.edu.in.

An MD Medicine candidate noted, “More than 160 questions were from repeated NEET PG topics of the last 7–8 years. Some were direct repeats.” Candidates expect tough competition at high scores.

The NEET PG 2025 exam, conducted on August 3 in a single shift, was of moderate difficulty, as per initial responses from candidates and medical faculty. Many candidates reported that the paper had a balanced mix of clinical and factual questions. Some candidates noted that integrated clinical case-based questions were prominent, aligning with the revised exam trends.

Psychiatrist Praveen Tripathi said the exam had a high number of modified PYQs. “Options were confusing in some questions. Cut-off likely to go high,” he noted in his initial analysis.

Medical faculty and students expect NEET PG 2025 cut-offs to rise due to the relatively easier paper and a high number of PYQs. Final ranks will depend on accuracy and overall attempts.

Following last year’s petitions, the Supreme Court mandated NBEMS to publish the answer key, raw marks, and enforce uniform counselling rules. Aadhaar-based tracking and penalties for seat blocking are among the new changes.

As per Supreme Court directives, NBEMS is expected to publish the NEET PG 2025 answer key and raw scores. However, the board has not yet confirmed the date or process for the release.

Candidates described the NEET PG 2025 exam as moderate in difficulty. Many reported a high number of PYQs and integrated questions. Some said the paper was easier compared to previous years.

NBEMS successfully conducted NEET PG 2025 on August 3 in a single shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Over 2.42 lakh candidates appeared for the exam across 1,052 centres in 301 cities.

The NBEMS will declare the NEET PG 2025 result by September 3. The result will be published on the official website, nbe.edu.in, in the form of a scorecard that will carry the candidate’s marks, NEET PG rank, and qualifying status. Candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible to participate in the NEET PG 2025 counselling process.

The last year's NEET PG spot round counselling closing rank at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, was 24703 under the OBC for MD in Radiotherapy/Radiation Oncology.

The last year's NEET PG 2025 closing rank for Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, in MD radio diagnosis under the EWS category was 3394. 

As per last year's NEET PG 2025 spot round counselling, the closing rank at Grant Medical College, Maharashtra, was 6631 for MD (derm, venereal and leprosy) under the OBC quota category. 

As per last year's NEET PG 2025 closing rank in spot round counselling, King George's Medical University, Lucknow, cut-off for OBC category for MS (Orthopaedics) was 16654.

As per the NEET PG 2025 marking scheme, candidates will be given +4 marks for every correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

Following the massive protest against the NBEMS decision to hold NEET PG 2025 in two shifts and a petition in the Supreme Court, it was decided to hold the PG medical entrance exam in a single shift only.

Since the NEET PG 2025 question paper was reported to be easy or moderate in difficulty level, the NEET PG cut-off 2025 is expected to be high. The cut-off is determined on the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates, availability of seats, among other factors. 

Once NEET PG answer key 2025, candidates will be able to calculate their marks using the NEET PG marking scheme. Each correct answer will fetch four marks and wrong response will lead to loss of 1 mark. According to a user on X, this year's NEET PG 2025 paper was more like a pulmonology sub-specialty paper than an actual postgraduate exam.

More than 2,42,000 candidates attempted the NEET PG 2025 question paper today, August 3, in a single shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm. The computer-based exam was held across 301 cities.

The National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 question paper contained a total of 200 multiple-choice questions. All questions were compulsory and carried four mark each.

No, NBEMS will not use a normalisation method anymore in NEET PG 2025 as the exam was held in a single shift. Accordingly, the raw scores of candidates will not be normalised into percentile score and will be directly used for NEET PG counselling 2025 for MD, MS admissions.

Some screenshots shared by the user show that NEET PG 2025 question paper has been provided to aspirants via Telegram a day before the exam.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has concluded the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 exam at 12:30 pm. The exam was held for a duration of 3.5 hours from 9 am. 

In case, a candidate is found involved in an unfair means case before, during, or after the NEET PG 2025 exam, NBEMS will cancel the candidature of such examinee and he or she will be debarred from the exam. 

As per NEET PG exam timing 2025, the exam will get over at 12:30 pm. The national PG medical entrance test started at 9 am and is being held in a single shift for three hours and 30 minutes. Once the exam is over, candidates will share NEET PG exam analysis 2025. 

The Maharashtra government is thinking of allowing MBBS graduates from state medical colleges to study postgraduate courses without serving a mandatory bond service. As per government resolutions, students from government medical colleges in Maharashtra are required to complete 1-year bond service at remote facilities to be eligible for NEET PG admissions.

The duration of the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 is three hours and 30 minutes. The exam is being held in a single shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm.

Ahead of NEET PG exam, several candidates had complained that they were allotted far-off exam centres with a doctors' association demanding reopening of the centre change window. However, no facility was provided as such. NEET PG 2025 is being held today in a single shift at various cities across the country.

"OBC - NCL (Non Creamy Layer) as per Central list of OBC are eligible to claim OBC reservation in the counseling to be conducted by MCC of DGHS including all India 50% quota seats counseling. OBC belonging to creamy layer are not eligible to claim OBC reservation," the NBE said. 

The NBEMS has informed that 16 centers have been set up for issuing PwD certificate. Candidates who obtain the qualifying marks in the NEET PG exam will have to submit the required documents such as UDID card to get the PwD certificate from the designated centres. 

Only those candidates who get the certificate from these centres will be eligible to claim 5% PwD reservation in the medical courses under 50% AIQ, central university seats. 

The NBEMS will publish three types of NEET PG rank lists. 

NEET PG rank - The overall merit position of the candidates who appeared in this year’s exam. 

50% All India Quota rank - The merit position of candidates eligible for 50% AIQ seats in the NEET PG counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for admission to MD, MD, PG diploma courses. 

50% AIQ category rank - The merit position of candidates belonging to OBC, SC, ST, EWS among the same category will be issued separately. 

The NEET PG results 2025 will be published soon after the answer key challenge window is closed. The validity of the NEET PG scores will be only for the current academic year 2025-26. The NEET PG merit will be used for admission to MD, MS, PG diploma courses and cannot be carried forward for the next year admissions. 

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) does not publicly disclose the contents of the exam. However, after last year's controversy over NEET PG exam and marks calculation, the Supreme Court has directed the board to publish the NEET PG raw scores and answer key to ensure greater transparency in the national-level medical entrance exam. 

In case two or more candidates obtain the same raw marks, the following tie-breaking method will be used.

• Candidate having an overall lesser number of negative responses in the entire question paper.
• Candidate having lesser number of negative responses in the Section A of the question paper 
• Candidate having lesser number of negative responses in the Section B of the question paper 
• Candidate having lesser number of negative responses in the Section C of the question paper 
• Candidate having lesser number of negative responses in the Section D of the question paper 
• Candidate having lesser number of negative responses in the Section E of the question paper 
• Candidate securing higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional exams will be placed at a better merit position.
• Older candidate will be placed higher in the merit. 

The NEET PG qualifying criteria varies for different categories. Candidates who obtain the qualifying NEET PG percentile will be awarded a rank. 

• General, EWS - 50th percentile
• SC, ST, OBC - 40th percentile
• PwD of SC, ST, OBC - 40th percentile
• UR PwD - 45th percentile. 

The national-level NEET PG exam 2025 for admission to MD, MS, and PG diploma courses begins. Around 2.5 lakh candidates are appearing for the exam across India. 

The NEET PG exam 2025 will have 200 MCQ questions. Candidates will have to attempt the exam in three and a half hours. 

• Correct response - 4 marks
• Incorrect answer - One mark will be deducted
• Unanswered - Zero marks.

The NEET PG question paper 2025 will have 200 multiple-choice questions with each question having 4 response options in English only. The exam will be held as a computer-based test (CBT) from 9 am to 12.30 pm. 

Candidates are required to select the correct and the most appropriate answer out of the 4 options.

The NBEMS has explained in detail the scenarios and actions to be taken in case of technical disruptions.

Power failure - No action necessary. The timer will stop when the failure occurs and will resume when the failure is rectified.

Loss of connectivity - IT Manager in each exam room verifies and unlocks the candidates account and the timer starts from the same point where the candidate had left.

Other technical glitches - On reporting the issue, the IT manager will resolve the issue. Candidate may be shifted from their allotted seat to buffer seat in same or other lab during the examination, if required. 

Frisking at the NEET PG exam centre will be done using hand held metal detector and body pat. Finger biometrics of candidates will be captured at the time of registration for the test at the reporting counter. Additionally, photograph of the candidates will be captured at the entry point and at each bio-break, and during the exam.

The NBEMS exam centres will close the NEET PG entry gates at 8.30 am. Candidates are required to complete the frisking, document verification, and biometrics soon to avoid last-minute hassle. 

The NBEMS has issued dress code for female candidates appearing for the NEET PG exam 2025. 

• Candidates are advised to wear simple clothes. 
• All ornaments like bracelets, ring, earrings, nose-pin, chain, necklace with pendants, badge, brooch etc are prohibited. 
• Will not be allowed to carry handbags, wallet, or purses inside the exam hall. 
• Shirts with large buttons are not allowed.
• Wearing henna or tattooing nails, fingers or hands should be avoided.  

NEET PG 2025 dress code for male candidates:

• Avoid wearing jeans, heavy clothes to the exam centre.
• Wearing cap, goggles, ornaments, belt are prohibited. 
• Carrying any electronic devices like mobile phones, smart watch, bluetooth are banned.
• Candidates will not be allowed to carry wallet.  

Candidates are required to carry a valid original hard copy of government-issued identity card to the exam centre. Entry inside the exam hall will only be permitted after the verification of documents. Photocopies of ID proofs shall not be accepted.
