According to an official circular from NBEMS, the NEET PG 2025 scorecard will be available for download on August 29, on the official website, natboard.edu.in. The download window will be open only for a period of six months, so candidates should download and print their scorecards in advance, as they have to produce the scorecard during the counselling process.

According to the official information bulletin by NBEMS, the NEET PG 2025 tie-breaking criteria are as follows:

• The candidate with a higher number of correct responses will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie persists, the candidate with fewer incorrect responses overall will be preferred.
• If still tied, the candidate with fewer incorrect responses in Section A will be given priority.
• If the tie remains, fewer incorrect responses in Section B will be considered.
• Next, fewer incorrect responses in Section C will be evaluated.
• Then, fewer incorrect responses in Section D will be taken into account.
• If the tie still exists after applying the above criteria, the older candidate will be given preference in the merit list.
• If a tie remains even after all these steps, the aggregate marks (percentage) in all MBBS professional examinations or FMGE marks submitted by the candidate will be used to break the tie.

Among other top rank holders, Jenil Monapara reportedly secured AIR 276 with 650 marks, while Shubham Patel obtained AIR 386. The NEET PG 2025 scorecard will be available for download from August 29. The NEET PG 2025 counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds, including the first round, second round, and mop-up round, as per the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) schedule. Candidates will have to complete registration, choice filling, and seat allotment in each round to secure admission.

An X user named Ajeet posted that he has secured an All India Rank (AIR) 3853 in NEET PG 2025. He shared his achievement on X, writing: "Got a rank of 3853 in NEET PG 2025, better than my expectations. Thank you to all my family members for the support."

Vipul Rajput has secured All India Rank (AIR) 69 in NEET PG 2025, placing among the top scorers of the exam.

Ritidhwaj has secured All India Rank 350 in NEET PG 2025. Sharing the achievement on social media, he wrote: "From a rank of 6 digit last year to AIR 350 (can't tell exact) in NEET PG 25! Thank you to everyone who pushed me every step of the way. And last but not least."

The top rank in NEET PG 2025 has been secured by a candidate from SCB Medical College, Cuttack. This candidate reportedly achieved the highest score in the examination, reflecting their position as All India Rank 1.

Score normalisation is not applied for NEET PG 2025 results as the exam was conducted in a single shift for all candidates. Following the Supreme Court’s directions, scores reflect raw marks since all candidates appeared under identical conditions, making normalisation unnecessary.

A total of 2,42,493 candidates appeared for the NEET PG 2025 exam, while 12,379 were absent. The top scorer reportedly secured 707 marks out of 800. The exam, conducted on August 3 in a single shift, was held after the Supreme Court approved the revised schedule following a postponement from June 15 to ensure additional test centres and infrastructure.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct three regular rounds of counselling followed by one stray vacancy round. Candidates who qualified the NEET PG 2025 exam will be allotted admission through the counselling process.

NEET PG 2025 maximum marks are 800. The previous year cut-off score for general category was 276. For general persons with disabilities, the cut-off was 255 marks. For other reserved category candidates, the NEET PG cut-off was 235 out of 800 marks.

The minimum qualifying score for general and EWS candidates is 276 out of 800. Candidates securing this NEET PG cut-off 2025 or above will be eligible to participate in the NEET PG counselling process for postgraduate medical admissions.

Talking about NEET PG result 2025 delay, Dhruv Chauhan, national spokesperson of Indian Medical Association (IMA) JDN claimed that the results have been prepared already and are just to be published on the official website. "As i have already said back the results have been done for long time . They are delaying in publishing it on site," he said in a post on X. The health activist added that if the NEET PG 2025 result is not declared by tomorrow then the intention behind the delay can be questioned.

The NEET PG marking scheme is as follows. 

• Correct response - 4 marks
• Incorrect answer - One mark will be deducted
• Unanswered - Zero marks.

The NEET PG qualifying percentile for each category is as follows. 

• General, EWS - 50th percentile
• SC, ST, OBC - 40th percentile
• PwD of SC, ST, OBC - 40th percentile
• UR PwD - 45th percentile.

According to NBEMS, 16 centers have been set up for issuing the PwD certificate. Candidates applying for admission have to submit the required documents, such as the UDID card, to get the PwD certificate from the centres. As per last year's NEET PG spot round counselling, KGMU Lucknow's closing rank for MS (Orthopaedics) was 16654 under the OBC category.

According to the data shared by ministry of health and family welfare, PG seats have increased from 31,185 before 2014 to 74,306 as of now. Moreover, there has been a significant increase of 101.5% in medical colleges to 780 from 387 before 2014.

NBEMS will not publish the answer key for the NEET PG 2025. Although SC has directed the board to disclose the answer key and raw marks of students, NBE has not yet announced its decision on the same. This is one of the 10 directives issued by the top court to uphold exam integrity.

Several petitions were filed in SC seeking a more transparent exam and counselling process, following which, the SC bench of Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R Mahadevan issued 10 directives.

• Synchronised counselling schedule for MCC All India Quota (AIQ) and state counselling.
• Publish NEET PG answer key and raw scores to ensure transparency.
• Aadhaar-based tracking of seats to remove multiple seat holdings and false representations.
• Disclose fee structure for private and deemed university medical colleges
• Centralised fee regulation system under the supervision of the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Penalties for seat blocking include forfeiture of the security deposit and disqualification from future NEET PG exams for repeat offenders.
• State authorities will be held accountable for rule violations
• To publish a standardised counselling code of conduct across all states.
• NBEMS to set up an independent oversight mechanism under NMC to conduct annual audits of counselling processes.

Last year, NBEMS declared the NEET PG result on August 23. This year, many aspirants felt the exam was easy to moderate in difficulty level, indicating the NEET PG cut-off to rise.

As per several media reports, NEET PG result 2025 expected date is September 3. However, some of the reports claim results may be declared today. Candidates will be able to access their NEET PG result 2025 on official website using their login credentials.
