NEET PG Counselling 2023: MCC opens portal for disability certificates for PwD quota candidates

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that the online portal for generation of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) certificates is open for PwD quota in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG counselling 2023. MCC has also released a list of disability NEET screening centres which will issue the certificates to PwD candidates in support of their claim to get 5 percent reservation in postgraduate courses on its official website – mcc.nic.in.
“All candidates who have registered themselves under PwD quota in NEET 2023 NBE form are hereby informed that the PwD portal for generation of PwD certificates by the Designated Disability NEET screening Centres is now open,” MCC said in an official notice.

Candidates can get the disability certificates from any of the designated centres in online mode. However, candidates will have to visit the centre for physical examination and quantification of their disability.
“However, the candidates have to visit the designated Disability NEET screening Centres for physical examination and quantification of their disability and obtain PwD certificate generated online by the centre. No other certificate except the one generated through the MCC portal in online mode will be accepted at the time of admission,” MCC added.
The committee further said that irrespective of the fact whether the candidates have qualified NEET PG 2023 or NEET MDS 2023 in terms of cut off, they will get the online certificates. The list of disability certification centres include the name of centre, city, and disability for which the certificate can be issued.
