NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to announce the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024 schedule soon. Candidates who have qualified for NEET PG 2024 will be able to access the counselling schedule once it is made available on the MCC's official website, mcc.nic.in.
The schedule will be issued in PDF format and will carry details such as important dates for registration, choice filling, seat allotment rounds and dates for reporting to the allotted institute. Based on previous trends, NEET PG 2024 counselling is expected to be conducted in four phases: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.
NEET PG counselling is conducted for admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats in Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Diplomate of National Board (DNB), and postgraduate diploma programmes.
Earlier, on September 20, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) began the registration process for the first round of postgraduate medical counselling. However, there has been no update on the last date for registration or the complete admission schedule.
The Supreme Court is set to hear the NEET PG case on October 25.
