The NBEMS has declared the previously withheld NEET PG 2025 results. According to a PDF circulating on social media, the results of seven candidates that were marked “WITHHELD” in the original publication on August 19, 2025, have now been declared following a decision by the NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee in its meeting held on September 4, 2025. The official notification has not yet been published on natboard.edu.in, leaving candidates awaiting formal confirmation.

The Supreme Court hearing on NEET PG 2025 transparency petitions (Item Nos. 45 to 45.9) is currently underway, with Item No. 8 being heard at the moment. The court is expected to resume proceedings after lunch.

The Director General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has debarred 148 candidates from UP NEET PG counselling 2025. This includes 59 candidates who did not join seats allotted through the stray vacancy round and 89 candidates who resigned from MD, MS seats after the last counselling cycle before completing the course.

As per the Kerala NEET PG 2025 counselling guidelines, candidates admitted under the general category are required to complete one year of service in designated hospitals. Service quota candidates must serve for a total of 10 years, including two years in remote or difficult areas. Candidates who discontinue the course are liable to repay government expenses along with a penalty of Rs 50 lakh.

MBBS graduates are waiting for the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to release the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling schedule for MD, MS, and postgraduate courses. States including Gujarat, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu have already started registration for their respective counselling rounds. The counselling committee is expected to announce the NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule soon on the official website at mcc.nic.in.

The Supreme Court will continue hearing the NEET PG 2025 transparency petitions filed by doctors’ groups against the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) today, September 23. This year, NEET PG 2025 cut-offs have decreased across all categories, showing a slight decline compared to 2022 and a larger drop from 2023.

The transparency plea and related matters will be heard by a bench comprising Justices JB Pardiwala and KV Vishwanathan. The court will examine whether NBEMS has fulfilled its obligations to ensure transparency in result evaluation and address concerns raised by aspirants and doctors’ associations.

According to the Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling 2025 bond policy, aspirants have to submit a penalty of Rs 15 lakh if they want to discontinue the course after the resignation period. The discontinuation fee for PG diploma courses is Rs 10 lakh, and for other PG degree courses is Rs 15 lakh. Furthermore, the total charges have to be submitted by means of a demand draft to the Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai– 10.
