The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the choice filling facility for the NEET PG round 1 counselling 2025 for admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The NEET PG counselling 2025 schedule was issued after much delay and uncertainty due to the pending Supreme Court case.

The NEET PG seat matrix for AIQ, central internal quota, deemed universities, and final DNB have been uploaded on the official website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates who have qualified in the NEET PG 2025 exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will be eligible to register and fill choices.

Around 1.28 lakh candidates qualified the exam, in which over 2 lakh participated. After three months of uncertainty, the MCC announced the NEET PG counselling dates on October 28.

Although the Supreme Court was tentatively scheduled to resume the NEET PG hearing on exam transparency, there is no update as of yet. Notably, the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association India (FORDA) wrote to the health ministry to expedite the MCC NEET PG admission process, highlighting the shortage of resident doctors in hospitals across the country. It also urged the ministry to provide transparent updates on the Supreme Court proceedings scheduled on October 28.

Meanwhile, several states have started the NEET PG counselling for state quota seats. The state-wise counselling schedule along with bond policy, college and course fees, eligibility, and cut-off details will be given below.
