MCC NEET PG Counselling 2025 dates are given in the table below.

A total of 11 candidates from the FMGE exams, held from 2021 to 2025 lost their seats due to 'unfair means.' Notably, the pass rate in the FMG exam saw a steady decline of 11 percentage points compared to the previous year. FMGE June 2025 pass percentage stood at 18.61%. Of the 37,207 registered candidates, only 6,707 qualified the exam gaining eligibility to practice medicine in India.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) cancelled the NEET PG 2025 results of 13 candidates due to use of 'unfair means.'

“Producing the said score card and/or result of NEET-PG of respective session for any purposes, including but not limited to, employment, enrolment/registration, admissions to PG courses, higher education etc. shall be unlawful,” the board said.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is currently accepting registration forms for NEET PG 2025 counselling for MD, MS admissions. The counselling was delayed due to NBEMS transparency plea hearing filed at the Supreme Court by the doctors' group. 

The Selection Committee of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research released a list of in-service candidates eligible for Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling 2025. Here's how the incentive marks are awarded.

• Incentive marks will be awarded for completed years as on March 31, 2025.
• In completed years, fractionalization of marks based on the number of months worked in Difficult Hill (10%), Difficult Plain (9%), Remote (8%), and Rural (5%).
• Incentive Marks will not be awarded for fractioned service month periods.
• Maximum of 30% of incentive marks will be awarded.

A total of 1,28,116 candidates qualified for the NEET PG 2025 for admission to MD, MS and post graduate degree courses at various government, and private medical colleges across the country.

NSince the NEET PG exam was conducted in two shifts last year, the NBE board used a normalization method to calculate the percentiles instead of announcing traditional cut-offs. The NEET PG 2025 cut-off scores for all categories are as follows.

The Selection Committee of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research has announced a list of 570 in-service doctors who have been awarded incentive marks for postgraduate medical admissions under the government quota through Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2025 counselling.

As per the official notification, the incentive marks were allocated based on the length of service in government positions, with a maximum of 30% marks granted in line with MCI regulations.

A total of 1,328 candidates have been deemed eligible for the Jammu and Kashmir NEET PG 2025 counselling for MD, MS and post graduate degree courses. 

The Madhya Pradesh government recently revised the application rules for in-service candidates . The in-service candidates have been instructed to register under the open category during the initial registration. The decision was taken after last year’s disputes over discrepancies in incentive marks awarded to such candidates, which led to cancellation of the first round.

The Directorate of Medical Education, MP has informed candidates opting for upgradation in second and mop-up rounds that they will not have to submit the rural seat leaving bond at the time of admissions in first and the second stage. However, they are required to submit a notarized affidavit on Rs 500 stamp paper stating that they will submit the service bond in case of non-upgradation.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the All India Quota seats for admission to MD, MS and other post graduate medical courses. As per the seat matrix, a total of 28,493 seats have been allotted, of which 804 are central quota seats, 8,855 final DNB, and 6,156 deemed university seats.

Candidates who have obtained the minimum qualifying NEET PG cut-off 2025 will be eligible to participate in the MCC NEET PG counselling 2025. This year, the NEET PG qualifying cut-off reduced across categories. Notably, the NEET PG qualifying cut-off marks were not announced in 2024 as the NBEMS had adopted a normalisation method to calculate percentile since the exam was held in two shifts.  

Despite the delay in starting the NEET PG counselling 2025 process, classes for postgraduate medical courses will begin slightly earlier this year, on December 8. Last year, PG medical classes began on December 20. The MCC announced the state quota counselling timeline along with the AIQ schedule.  

The MCC NEET PG round 1 seat allotment for round 1 will be announced on November 8 for All India Quota (AIQ) seats.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the NEET PG choice filling process for round 1 counselling. Candidates who have a valid score in NEET PG exam will be able to fill choices in the order of preferences before November 5.
