Use NowNEW DELHI: National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) counselling is ongoing. Demanding clarity on the counselling dates, aspirants have been asking whether NEET PG cut-offs will be revised as the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has not yet declared the NEET PG round 3 seat allotment results.
The updates on MCC NEET PG counselling 2023 revised cut-off expected date, seat allotment results will be made available at the official website, mcc.nic.in. The NEET PG round 3 seat allotment result was scheduled to be out on September 16, however, it is not been declared yet.
Doctors' body including the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has requested to reduce the cut-off percentile up to 30 percent. Federation of Resident Doctors' Association India (FORDA) on September 15 wrote a letter to the Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya and met him to discuss the issue. Later FORDA in a post on X said that they have requested the minister to lower the NEET PG cut-off 2023 and “Good news expected soon!”
Meanwhile, candidates have started flooding X (formerly Twitter) with requests to declare the allotment result or provide clarity on the schedule.

NEET PG counselling is conducted for 24,547 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 12,780 Master of Surgery (MS), and 922 PG Diploma seats. The seat matrix may vary as per the addition and cancellation of seats by the MCC based on the renewal of permission by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
