Use NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will declare the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG) stray vacancy round results 2024 tomorrow, February 19. The NEET PG stray round counselling 2024 is being conducted to fill a total of 2,562 clear vacancy seats.
The NEET PG counselling 2024 seat allotment list will be hosted on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The MCC had earlier said that candidates who are not holding any All India Quota (AIQ) or state quota seats will be eligible to participate in the last counselling round.
It allowed eligible candidates to register for the NEET PG stray vacancy round counselling from February 12 to 16 and fill choices from February 13. Meanwhile, aspirants across the state have expressed apprehension about the delay in the state counselling, which cost them AIQ seats. Over 70 students filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of MCC NEET PG round 3 allotment results.
In this regard, the MCC notified the eligibility criteria for the last or stray vacancy round. According to this, candidates who did not join their seats allotted through MCC NEET PG counselling in round 3 are ‘not eligible’. However, candidates who have ‘not reported’ will be permitted to participate in the state counselling.
