The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed that the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Manalagiri has been removed from the list of disability centres. The committee has asked the Persons With Disabilities (PwD) candidates participating in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 counselling not to visit the institute for obtaining the documents.

The decision has been taken as the Andhra Pradesh-based AIIMS intimated that it is still “not fully equipped” to function as a disability certification centre.

“This is for the information to all candidates that in reference to notice dated August 28, AIIMS Mangalagiri was designated as the disability centre of MCC. However, as per information received from MS, AIIMS Mangalagiri, it is still not fully equipped to provide the required services as a disability certification centre,” said MCC in the latest notification.

It further asked candidates to visit the other disability centres mentioned in the list to avoid inconvenience.

Candidates are required to fetch their documents by September 9. It is mandatory for the students under the disabled category to get a certificate for securing MBBS admissions in the All India Quota (AIQ).

The registration for MCC NEET UG round 2 counselling 2025 will start from tomorrow, September 4 on the official website – mcc.nic.in. As per the revised counselling schedule, the last date for applying and paying fee is September 9.
