As per NTA, passport size photograph, thumb impressions, and other certificates must fulfill the NEET photo requirements and correct dimensions, otherwise NEET 2025 application will lead to rejection.
The guidelines include the dimensions, format, resolutions, and style of the NEET UG photo, signature, and thumb impression. Candidates must upload the correct format to submit their application fee and form, as per NTA.
The NEET UG 2025 documents have to be uploaded in JPG or PDF format only, as part of their application. Candidates can apply for NEET UG 2025 through the official website at neet.nta.nic.in. The exam will be held on May 4, 2025.
NTA has also reduced their NEET UG 2025 exam centres to 552, which is five less than the previous year. However, the international exam cities are 14, same as the previous year.
Candidates can select their preferred exam cities while filling out the application form. The exam cities available for selection are restricted to the candidate’s permanent address to ensure they choose from the list of cities at their convenience.
Additionally, the NTA has announced that the NEET UG exam centres will be open three hours before the exam begins, instead of the two hours before in previous year’s exams. The NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm at various exam centres.
