NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has yet again retained the top spot in the management category of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking 2024 announced today, August 12. IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode also retained the second and third positions in the NIRF management ranking 2024 this year. Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the ninth edition of the India rankings 2024 for 13 categories during a press conference. NIRF Ranking 2024 live updates .
IIT Delhi has jumped to the fourth spot, leaving behind the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta at the fifth position in NIRF ranking 2024 management.
The newest IIM -- IIM Mumbai -- jumped a spot up to become the sixth best management institute this year and IIM Lucknow slipped to the seventh place. IIT Bombay secured the same position as last year, 10th rank.

Last year, IIM Ahmedabad ranked first in yearly b-school rankings while IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode grabbed the second and third spots respectively. The NIRF ranking is based on five parameters. The institutions are given common ranks and discipline-wise ranks on the basis of their scores in each parameter.
