The four-year BTech programme in artificial intelligence and data engineering was introduced by the institute in 2023. For the gender-neutral, open Home State (HS), open category in 2023, the JEE Main closing rank for NIT Jaipur's artificial intelligence and data engineering programme was 6,924. For the same course in the same category, the JEE Main closing rank in 2024 was 6,022.
NIT Jaipur JEE Man cut off trend for OBC, SC, ST category
JEE Main cut-off at MNIT Jaipur for reserved categories, including Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST), saw fluctuation for the artificial intelligence and data engineering BTech programme from 2023 to 2024.
For OBC category candidates, under the home state, gender-neutral category, the JEE Main closing rank increased from 2,627 to 2,804 while for ST category candidates, the JEE Main closing rank saw a drop from 454 to 430. For SC category candidates, the JEE Main closing rank increased from 1,482 to 1,968.

JEE Main 2025 exam date
NTA conducts the JEE Mains exam in two sessions – session 1 in January and session 2 in April. The JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam will be conducted from January 22 to 30, 2025.
JEE Main 2025 paper 1 for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) will be conducted in two shifts on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29. Paper 2 for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and Bachelor of Planning (BPlanning) will be conducted in a single shift on January 30.
JEE Main 2025: Special CSAB counselling round
Candidates who qualify the JEE Main exam will be eligible to register on the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling portal for the admission process at the NITs, Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).
The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) recently announced a special round of counselling for candidates who do not secure a seat in the initial JoSAA and CSAB counselling rounds for NIT admissions. Additionally, the CSAB-North Eastern States and Some of Union Territories (CSAB-NEUT) counselling rounds will be held to allocate seats in various AICTE-approved institutes across India.
