NMC directs medical colleges to provide video recording of MBBS annual exams

NEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission has directed the medical colleges in the country to provide the video recording of upcoming annual examinations. The NMC Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) circular read, “All medical colleges, institutions, deemed universities are hereby directed to furnish the video recording of the forthcoming annual Examinations for every phase of MBBS.”
The institutions will have to submit the video recording of MBBS first, second and third year annual exams, along with completed standard assessment Form C through electronic link, the NMC said. The colleges can submit the recording through Google, Share point and other online mode to National Medical Commission on designated e-mail ug.exam@nmc.org.in immediately after the completion of the Examination.

The NMC added that the submission of above information is necessary for considering the proposals for grant of renewal of permissions. “Failing submission of above required recording and documents shall invite appropriate action as deemed fit,” NMC said.
The medical colleges and institutions can download the Form C on the link here . “All permitted seats stand recognised as per MSMER 2023 dated September 19, 2023,” the NMC said.
