In case of gross difference in the appearance of the candidate in real time photograph and uploaded one, the application will be rejected, the NMC guideline says.
The NMC will open the application window to apply for the FMGE Eligibility Certificate (EC) for Indian students with foreign medical degrees. Concerned candidates will be able to apply through the National Medical Commission’s - NMC - official website at nmc.org.in.

The online application window to register for the FMGE EC 2025 will remain open till 6 pm on September 30. The EC certificate is mandatory for candidates aiming to appear for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) screening test.
Though the NMC has not yet announced the schedule for the FMGE screening test, it is expected to be conducted in the coming month, the NMC official notice says.
Foreign medical degree holders, looking forward to practising medicine in India will be able to contact the NMC for any queries regarding the status of their application through eligibility.regn@nmc.org.in or eligibility@nmc.org.in, as per the notice.

Candidates are advised to use photographs taken in a photo-studio in the last 3 months to avoid any likely error. Further, if any candidate decides to click the photograph at home, he or she must follow the guidelines as given below.
