NTA cancels CSIR NET December 2024 held today at Assam centre over technical glitch

CSIR NET December 2024 shift 1 exam held at Assam Down Town University cancelled. New date, time, centre soon at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has cancelled the Joint Council of Scientific & Industrial Research - National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) December 2024 held at an examination centre in Assam today, February 28, due to a technical glitch.
The CSIR UGC NET exam held in the first shift at Assam Down Town University for the earth sciences and mathematics subjects has been cancelled. As per the CSIR NET 2024 December exam schedule , the mathematics, earth, atmospheric, ocean, and planetary sciences papers were scheduled to be held from 9 am to 12 pm.
“Due to technical glitch, the exam held in the subjects of Earth Sciences and Mathematical Sciences on 28.02.2025 (Shift-1 only) at Assam Down Town University, Guwahati, Assam stands cancelled,” said NTA in an official notice.
Regretting the inconvenience caused to the aspirants, the testing agency informed that the new exam date, timings, and exam centre for the cancelled CSIR NET papers will be announced shortly on the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.
NTA is holding CSIR UGC NET December 2024 from February 28 to March 2 for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor, and admission to PhD programmes. CSIR UGC NET admit card is available on the website.
