NVS Admission 2024: Registration for Class 9, 11 lateral entry ends tomorrow; exam on February 10

NVS Lateral Entry 2024: Students can apply for JNV Class 9, 11 lateral entry admission through the official website, navodaya.gov.in.
NEW DELHI: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will end the registrations for Class 9, 11 lateral entry admission 2024 tomorrow, October 31. Students can apply for JNV Class 9, 11 lateral entry admission 2024 through the official website, navodaya.gov.in.
The JNV lateral entry selection test for Class 9, 11 will be held on February 10, 2024. Students will be given admission against the vacant seats based on their performance in the selection test. The test will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes.
Earlier, NVS conducted the lateral entry admission only for Class 9 students. However, from this year, the lateral entry admission began for Class 11 as well.
JNV Class 9, 11 Lateral Entry Admission 2024: Eligibility
Students who are resident in the district where the JNV is located are eligible to apply for JNV Class 9 lateral entry admission. Apart from this, students must be enrolled in Class 8 in the academic year 2023-2024 at one of the district’s government-recognised schools.
Students who are residents and are studying in Class 10 in one of the government-recognised schools of the district where JNV is located can apply for JNV Class 11 lateral entry admissions. Students need to be between 15 to 17 years of age for Class 11 lateral entry admission.

Students can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for the JNV Class 9, 11 lateral entry admission 2024.
- Visit the official website – navodaya.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the JNV Class 9 or 11 lateral entry admission 2024 link.
- Generate the user ID and password.
- Once the registration is done, login and fill out the online application form.
- Pay the application fee and submit the form.
