The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot has started the registrations for Punjab NEET PG counselling for round 1 admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB seats. This year, admission to PG Diploma in Sports Medicine at Netaji National Institute of Sports Patiala will also be conducted using NEET PG score.
The BFUHS announced the round 1 Punjab NEET PG schedule immediately after the MCC NEET PG counselling was issued on October 28 at the official website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates applying under the Punjab state quota will have to register on the official portal, bfuhs.ac.in, by November 3.
After verifying the eligibility of candidates who have applied under the minority quota, the Punjab NEET PG merit list 2025 will be published on November 6, the university said.
Candidates seeking admission under the NRI quota are required to obtain an eligibility certificate from the university before applying for the round 1 counselling. The Punjab NEET PG application form for NRI candidates has been hosted separately on the portal.

The application fee for participating in the counselling is Rs 5,000+18% GST, ie, Rs 5,900, for general category candidates, while the reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 2,500 plus charges, ie., Rs 2,950.
NRI candidates are required to pay USD 1,500 or equivalent in Indian rupees through Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences payable at Faridkot.
