For the third consecutive year, Chandigarh University (CU) has retained the first position among India’s private universities in the QS Asia University Rankings 2026. The university also improved its overall position in Asia, securing 109 rank, up from 120 in 2025.

This consistent climb in the QS Asia University Ranking shows the commitment of Chandigarh University toward academic excellence, innovation, and global competitiveness.

Chandigarh University: Consistent growth in QS Asia Rankings

Since 2022, Chandigarh University has shown an extraordinary rise of over 160 positions in just four years. The ranking ranged from 271–280 in 2022, 185 in 2023, 149 in 2024, 120 in 2025, and now stands at 109 in 2026. Over the years, the university has retained its position as India’s top private university, underlining its growing prominence within the Asian education landscape.
