QS Global MBA Rankings 2024: IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta in top 10 in Asia, among 100 globally

Eleven Indian institutes have been ranked among the top B-Schools in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2024.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management (IIM Bangalore), IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta have been ranked in the top 10 B-schools of Asia in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2024. Globally, Stanford Graduate Business School has topped the QS Global MBA Rankings 2024.
This year, 11 Indian institutes have been ranked among the top 351 institutes across the globe. IIM Bangalore has been ranked 48 while IIM Ahmedabad (53), IIM Calcutta (59) and Indian School of Business (ISB Hyderabad, 78) are among other Indian institutes top in 100 B-schools. In the 151-200 slot, three institutes from the country – IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow and IIM Udaipur – have been ranked.
Three other Indian Institutes – International Management Institute, Delhi; Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and XLRI-Xavier School of Management – are placed in the 201-250 slot. International Management Institute, Kolkata has been ranked in 251+ category.
Top 5 B-Schools globally
Along with Stanford Graduate Business School, Penn (Wharton), Harvard Business School, London BUsiness School and HEC Paris are included in the top five of the QS Global MBA Rankings 2024. In the top ten, five institutes are from United States of America, two each from the United Kingdom and Spain, and one from France.
In Asia, the ranking has been topped by National University of Singapore. It is followed by Tsinghua University Beijing, Nanyang NTU Singapore, University of Hong Kong, CEIBS Shanghai. In top 10 B-School in Asia, three each are in Singapore and India, and two each in China and Hong Kong.
IIT Bombay best in country
In the overall category, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay ) has emerged at the top among Indian universities in the QS World Rankings 2024. As many as 45 institutions from the country have been included in the QS World Rankings this year.
In the 20th edition of the QS World University Rankings, 1,500 institutions across 104 locations.
