QS Global MBA Rankings 2026: IIM Bangalore rises to 52nd place; 14 in top 100

QS Global Rankings 2026: Among 14 ranked institutes, IIM Ahmedabad has risen two spots to 58th, and IIM Calcutta moved to 64th position, one place higher than last year.
According to the QS Global MBA rankings 2026, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has moved up one spot to rank 52nd, and IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta have improved to 58th and 64th, respectively. For MBA, 14 institutes have been featured in the QS Global Rankings 2026.
IIM Indore has improved its position and climbed into the 151-200 bracket, while the Woxsen School of Business debuted this year, as per the QS Global MBA rankings 2025. The success is driven by strong scores in three indicators: employability, return on investment, and thought leadership.
Notably, three entries featured for the first time in QS Global Rankings 2026, including IIM Kozhikode at 53rd, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS), in the 76-100 range, and Goa Institute of Management debuts at 101+.
In the QS Master's in Management 2026 rankings, six institutes made it to the top 100 under the employability indicator, including IIM Bangalore at 17th, IIM Calcutta at 22nd, IIM Ahmedabad at 29th, IIM Lucknow at 66th, IIM Indore at 92nd, and IIM Kozhikode at joint 95th.

QS Global MBA Rankings 2026
As per the QS Global MBA Rankings 2026, four institutes have climbed the table, whereas one has remained stable and seven have dropped within their ranks or bands.

QS Business Master's Rankings 2026
Out of 37 entries from India, 10 are new this year. The QS ranked 37 India-based specialised business master’s, including 19 in Master's in Management, seven in Master's in Finance, five in Master's in Business Analytics, four in Master's in Marketing, and two Master's in Supply Chain Management.

However, none of the seven entries of Master’s in Finance appear in the top 200 this year. Only three entries have improved their rankings under Master's Management. IIM Bangalore improved by two places to rank 30th, IIM Ahmedabad rises by eight places to enter the top 50, placing 48th, and IIM Kozhikode rises into the next ranking range at 141-150.
