Education Minister Madan Dilawar has announced that starting from the next academic session, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will hold board examinations twice a year. The first examination will be compulsory for all students, while the second will be optional, allowing both regular and supplementary students to appear to improve their scores in three subjects.

The decision will provide students with an additional opportunity to improve their results in up to 3 subjects. The RBSE Board exam will be based on the entire syllabus, and the best of three scores will be considered to prepare the final results.

Rajasthan education minister posted on the official X account and said: “Both examinations will be based on the entire syllabus, and the best scores of the students will be considered in the final result. This arrangement will prove to be a meaningful step towards more opportunities for students, reduced exam stress, and better results.”
