Rajasthan NEET PG 2025 choice filling ends on February 8; security deposit up to Rs 5 lakh

The SMS Medical College, Jaipur, has revised the schedule for the Rajasthan NEET PG counselling 2025 round 3 for admission to MD, MS, DNB and PG diploma programmes. Candidates can access the choice filling and locking facility through the official website at rajpgneet2025.in.

The NEET PG 2025 counselling round 3 choice filling and locking began on February 1. Candidates looking forward to securing medical seats will be able to fill and lock their choices of programmes and colleges by February 8.

“All participating candidates will have to fill fresh choices for round 3. Their choices filled in earlier rounds will automatically be scraped off. Candidates should fill choices considering virtual vacancies which may arise due to upgradation,” as per the official notification.

The last date to deposit the security amount, which shall be paid in a single transaction, is February 8 up to 5 pm.

The Rajasthan NEET PG 2025 counselling round 3 provisional seat allotment result will be declared on February 13. Candidates who will be allotted medical seats will have to report to their respective colleges by February 18 up to 4 pm.

Rajasthan NEET PG round 3 security deposit

The documents required during the reporting at medical colleges include allotment letter, original documents, required bonds, 2 copies of application form along with self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents, among others.

Those belonging to unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Tribe (ST), ST - STA, Other Backward Classes (OBC), Most Backward Classes (MBC) should have to pay Rs 1 lakh as security deposit for admission in government, govt society medical colleges, RUHSCMS, Govt district hospitals.

Whereas, the security deposit amount for UR, EWS, SC, ST, ST- STA, OBC, MBC students, opting MD, MS courses through management seats in govt society medical colleges, RUHS CMS is Rs 2 lakh.

Moreover, those opting for medical seats in private colleges should have to pay a deposit of Rs 5 lakh for admission.

Who is eligible for round 3?

“Students can upgrade their security amount by depositing a different amount. Not reported candidates of round-2 allotment will have to re-register and deposit security amount again and earlier deposited security amount shall be forfeited,” the official notification reads.

As per the eligibility criteria for participating in the Rajasthan NEET PG 2026 round 3 counselling, all newly registered candidates, and those having joined status up to round 2 are eligible to participate.

Those who have joined status up to round 2 can participate in round 3 with the same registration and without forfeiture of earlier deposited security amount.

Also, already registered candidates who did not get any allotment in round 1 and 2 are also eligible, including those who resigned without forfeiture of security amount. Candidates who did not join round 1 and resigned without being allotted any seat in round 2 are also eligible to apply for Rajasthan NEET PG round 3 counselling.

“Not joined/ not reported candidates of Round 2 and candidates who resigned after round 2 with forfeiture of security amount can participate in round 3 after re-registration and deposition of security amount again,” the notification said.
