Use NowThe Rajasthan Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC) has issued a uniform fee structure for Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) courses in private medical colleges and private medical universities. Under the new medical fee structure for private medical colleges, tuition fees for pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical phases are Rs 2 lakh, Rs 6 lakh, and Rs 32.5 lakh per course, respectively, for both government and management categories.
Under the official fee structure for private medical colleges, recurring charges such as admission, examination, and library fees amount to Rs 35,000, in addition to a one-time registration fee of Rs 10,000.
Fees payable at admission are Rs 2.45 lakh for pre-clinical, Rs 6.45 lakh for para-clinical, and Rs 32.95 lakh for clinical courses. Hostel charges have been standardised at Rs 3.5 lakh for single, Rs 2 lakh for double sharing, and Rs 4 lakh for 1BHK accommodations per course.
According to the NEET PG 2025 counselling information bulletin, for colleges where the final fee decision is pending, the FRC has tentatively applied the same structure, subject to final approval.
Recently, the Rajasthan government also directed all private medical colleges to follow the approved fee structure . Institutes charging fees above the prescribed limits will have to refund the excess at a 12% annual interest. Non-compliance may lead to withdrawal of affiliation, recovery of excess fees from institutional assets, and other penal measures.
The move reinforces transparency and affordability in medical education and aligns with the state’s standardisation of MD, MS fees. Rajasthan NEET PG counselling 2025 is ongoing, with candidates able to submit their application forms for round 1 counselling by 5 pm on November 12 at the official website, rajpgneet2025.in.
