• Higher merit will be awarded to older applicants.
• The names' alphabetical order (from A to Z) will be utilised to break the tie if the ages are equal.

Candidates can use the formula given below to calculate their RRB NTPC scores:

• RRB NTPC Score calculation = Correct answers x 1 mark - Wrong answer x 0.25

The final merit list will be created by the Railway Recruitment Authority using the normalised scores of all eligible applicants. Multiple shifts will be used for RRB NTPC 2025. The normalisation method is carried out for the RRB NTPC 2025 result in order to maintain the equilibrium between the difficulty levels of different shifts.
