SBI CBO Notification 2026: Candidates can apply for circle-based officer posts on sbi.co.in.

The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications for the recruitment of circle-based officers (CBO) posts to fill a total of 2,050 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply for the SBI CBO recruitment 2026 on the official website, sbi.co.in.
As per the SBI CBO 2026 notification, the last date to register is February 18, and candidates can also pay the application fee on or before this date.
In order to apply for the SBI CBO recruitment 2026, applicants belonging to the unreserved, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Other Backwards Classes (OBC) categories will have to pay the application fee of Rs 750.
There is no application fee for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the online examination, followed by screening, an interview, and a local language proficiency test. The initial basic salary for the SBI CBO post is Rs. 48,480.
Candidates who have completed a graduation degree in any subject from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government are eligible to apply. Those with professional degrees like Medical, Engineering, CA, or Cost Accountant are also eligible to apply for the SBI CBO post.
Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of December 31, 2025. That is, they must have been born between January 1, 1996 and December 31, 2004 (inclusive of both dates).
The objective test will be conducted for 2 hours and will include four sections—English language, banking knowledge, general awareness or economy, and computer aptitude—with a total of 120 marks.
Each section will have a separate time limit, and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers in the objective test.
The descriptive test will be for 50 marks, and its duration will be 30 minutes. This is an English test that needs to be typed on a computer, and it will contain two questions related to letter writing and essay writing. The interview will consist of 50 marks.
