Candidates belonging to the unreserved, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories should have to pay Rs 750 as application fee.
The State Bank of India (SBI) will close the online application process for 541 probationary officer posts today, July 14. Eligible candidates can apply for the SBI PO vacancies through the official website at sbi.co.in.

Out of the 541 PO vacancies at SBI, 500 are regular, while 41 are backlog vacancies, as per the official notification.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the SBI PO posts includes a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent qualification. Candidates in their final year or semester of graduation can apply for government posts.
Notably, candidates who are pursuing professional courses such as medical, engineering, chartered accountant, cost accountant and other are also eligible to apply.

SBI PO 2025: Application fee, important dates
As per the official notification, the age limit to apply for the SBI PO posts is 21 to 30 years as of April 1, 2025. Candidates belonging to the unreserved, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories should have to pay Rs 750 as application fee.
Whereas, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category candidates are exempted from application fee. They need not pay any registration amount.
The bank has not yet announced the exam dates for the competitive test. However, as per previous years trends, the exam hall ticket or admit card will be issued in the fourth weekk of July, 2025.
The SBI PO 2025 recruitment exam will be conducted in August and the results will be declared in September.
