SBI specialist cadre applications open on bank.sbi/web/careers for professionals with minimum 4 years experience

The State Bank of India (SBI) has commenced applications for the recruitment of specialist cadre officers on regular and contract basis. Application forms are available on the official website, bank.sbi/web/careers. The last date to apply for specialist cadre officers is July 31.
After clicking on ‘Apply Online’ and ‘New Registration’, candidates will find a multi-page form, in which they have to fill in their personal details and qualification details. Then they’ll see a page for uploading the necessary documents. After the payment of a registration fee of Rs 750, their application will be submitted.
For the SBI recruitment application, candidates need to keep ready the soft copies of the following documents.
The SBI specialist cadre recruitment is conducted in four stages - Application, physical interview, CTC negotiation, and preparation of merit list. A physical document verification will be conducted during the interview to ensure that candidates meet the minimum eligibility criteria. The merit list will be prepared using the scores obtained for the interview.

The SBI specialist cadre officers recruitment will be conducted for 33 vacancies in total. Candidates can check the vacancy distribution for different posts, with the seats available for each category.

The eligibility criteria for different posts under SBI specialist cadre recruitment are as follows.
For General Manager: Candidate should have any one of BE, BTech, MCA, MTech or MSc in computer science, computer science and engineering, information technology, information security, electronics, electronics and communications engineering, or software engineering. Certifications of CISA, CEH, and ISO 27001:LA are mandatory. It is essential to have a minimum 15 years of experience in relevant fields, out of which minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role.
For Assistant Vice President: Candidate should have a BE or BTech in computer science, software engineering, IT, or electronics with a minimum 50% score. Two certifications - CISA by ISACA USA and ISO 27001:2022 LA by NABCB - are mandatory. It is essential to have a minimum six years of experience in relevant fields.
For Deputy Manager: Candidate should have a BE or BTech in computer science, software engineering, IT, or electronics with a minimum 50% score. CISA by ISACA USA is a mandatory certification for this role. It is essential to have a minimum four years of experience in relevant fields.
