Parents of students from Classes 6 to 8 protested against the teacher’s actions. He allegedly encouraged discussions on sexually explicit topics and inappropriate gestures. An investigation was ordered, and a departmental inquiry has begun.

“We have told them that unless they make a workable solution for granting scale pay, regularisation, mainstreaming into the state teaching cadre, we will not accept any other proposal and will continue with the agitation,” teachers association said.

"After getting a government job, it is possible that we slow down under the burden of responsibilities. But I want teachers to keep their spark alive," Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said.
