SP Jain's bachelor of data science programme records 100% placements

SP Jain Global Placements 2024: SP Jain's BDS programme graduates achieved an average salary of AUD 82,955.
NEW DELHI: SP Jain School of Global Management (SP Jain Global) announced a 100% placement rate for its Bachelor of Data Science (BDS) programme for the 2023 academic session. As per the institute, the highest salary offered to a graduate was AUD 126,200, with an average salary of AUD 82,955.
The institute said that students also secured internships at various organizations worldwide, including Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Pharmasea, TAT Capital (Sydney), Delicate Fashion (Vietnam), Metaworld, Jio Digital, Elevated Play Philippines, Inc, Geneva Capital Pte (Singapore), TalentEase, and St Trinity.
Out of all the industries involved in the hiring process, 29% were from consultancy, 14% each from telecommunications and real estate. Recruiters included Woolworths Group, TPG Telecom, Greenstone Financials, Rassure, and Resonate Solutions, the institute said.
The BDS programme at SP Jain is a three-year undergraduate course that combines theoretical subjects with practical applications, encompassing data science, programming, analytics, machine learning, and related areas.

Speaking about the placement record, the director of BDS programme at SP Jain Global, Abhijit Dasgupta, said: “The consistent 100% placement rate for our programme demonstrates the calibre of our students and the relevance of our curriculum in meeting the demands of today's data-driven industries. We are committed to providing a comprehensive education that not only equips students with technical skills but also fosters critical thinking and problem-solving abilities essential for success in the rapidly evolving field of data science.”
A graduate of the class of 2023, Prakruti Makwana, said, “The BDS program focuses on both technical skills and professional development with mock interviews, workshops, and real-world projects.”
