SPJIMR Placement Drive 2024: All students get job offers; highest package of Rs 81 lakh

A total of 138 students got pre placement offers during the SPJIMR Placement Drive 2024. The average salary package was Rs 33 lakh.
NEW DELHI: SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) Mumbai concluded the final recruitment process for PGDM and PGDM(BM) Class of 2024. The highest package offered during the SPJIMR recruitment process was Rs 81 lakh.
The institute said all the students of the PGDM and PGDM(BM) got job offers during the placement process. A total 72 companies, including 33 first time recruiters, participated in the SPJIMR placement drive. The consulting sector emerged as the top recruiting sector, with 35 % of the batch receiving offers. The participating companies included Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, GEP Worldwide, Kearney, KPMG, Praxis Global Alliance and PwC US Advisory among others. This year SPJIMR also received international offers by Deloitte.
“This year’s average annual salary (cost-to-company) remained similar to last year at INR 33 lakhs per annum. The median annual salary was also similar to last year at 31.2 lakhs per annum, with over 70 percent of the batch securing offers above INR 30 lakhs per annum and over 90 percent in excess of INR 25 lakhs per annum,” the SPJIMR said.
It added a record number of front-end investment banking roles was offered by firms such as DC Advisory Partners, Goldman Sachs, JM Financials, Nomura, and O3 Capital. Offers in investment banking tripled compared to last year.
General Management roles were offered by leading recruiters such as Aditya Birla Group, Capgemini ELITE, Mahindra GMC, RPG and Tata Administrative Services.
Over 47% of the batch, 138 students, was awarded Pre-Placement Offers via Autumn Internships and Corporate Competitions with leading companies such as Aditya Birla Group, Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group, Colgate-Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Procter & Gamble, and Tata Administrative Services among many others.

- 71% of offers equal to or greater than Rs 30 LPA
- 90% of offers equal to or greater than Rs 25 LPA
