SSC CGL 2023 option-cum-preferences facility for tier-2 candidates to begin tomorrow

SSC CGL Result 2023: The final merit list will be based on the option-cum-preferences submitted by the candidates on the official website, ssc.nic.in.
NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has asked the candidates who appeared in the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL 2023) to submit the option-cum-preferences from tomorrow. Candidates will have to submit the SSC CGL option-cum-preferences on the official website, ssc.nic.in. As per the revised vacancies, a total of 8,415 posts will be filled through SSC CGL recruitment.
The SSC CGL 2023 option-cum-preferences window will be activated from November 18 to 21. Tier-2 exam was held on October 26 and 27 for candidates who were shortlisted in tier-1.
“All candidates, who have appeared in Tier-II, are advised to submit their Option-cum-Preference for post(s)/ department(s) for CGLE-2023 through their respective ‘CANDIDATE LOGIN’ on the website of SSC (Headquarters) i.e., https://ssc.nic.in,” the commission read. The options can be revised or edited before the deadline announced by the SSC.
Candidates who fail to submit the SSC CGL 2023 option-cum-preferences will not be considered in the final merit list or final selection of recruitment. PwBD candidates should ensure that they give preference for only those posts which are identified as suitable for their disabilities.
“Candidates, who do not submit their post preference(s) on the website of the Commission within the stipulated time, will not be considered for any post in the Final Result. Such candidates shall not be provided with another opportunity to exercise preference for posts and will be solely responsible for the same,” it added.
As per the SSC CGL tier-1 result 2023, 4,377 candidates were shortlisted for the post of assistant audit officer and assistant accounts officer. 3,123 for junior statistical officer, 3,140 for statistical investigator, and 71,112 for other posts.
